 Paste Table Gallery Group Show

Paste Table Gallery Group Show

11th – 20th Aug 2022

Tension are proud to be hosting a group show by Paste Table Gallery (PTG).
Established by Nick Cash in 2008 Paste Table Gallery is a peripatetic micro gallery dedicated to showing analogue collage, a mini ‘white cube’ with white pegboard walls and grey ‘floor’.

Cuban exile Augustin Fernandez whose painting was featured in Brian De Palma film ‘Dressed To Kill,’ original punk rocker, Gaye Black, bass player with the Adverts and Alison Aye who has been rejected from the RA summer show twenty times and recently appeared on the BBC 2 programme Summer Exhibitionist with Joe Lycette have all been shown on the paste table.

PTG makes an effort to show an eclectic mix of collage from the purely figurative to totally abstract. PTG eschews the digital flatness and neatness that results from computer generated work. In analogue collage a topography is created, the physical hand of the artist and the process of cutting and gluing/assembling being visible.

We are an artist run gallery dedicated to showcasing the work and raising the profiles of emerging and mid career local, national and international artists. We show a mixture of contemporary & experimental art that questions what art is and what art could be.
